About This Role

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Machinist to join our dynamic workshop Engineering team.

As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in producing precision parts and ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of machines and tools.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with strong machining skills and experience working with hydraulic and mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and interpret technical drawings to determine machining requirements
  • Operate lathes, mills, presses, and other machinery to produce precision parts to specification
  • Maintain and service machines, tools, and equipment through cleaning, lubrication, and preventative maintenance
  • Carry out hand-fitting tasks such as filing and undertake welding duties if qualified
Requirements
  • Holding trade qualifications as a diesel fitter, mechanic, or hydraulics fitter
  • Bringing 5+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrating strong skills in machining, hydraulics, precision measuring instruments, and interpreting engineering drawings
