Senior Composites Manufacturing Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Composites Technician will play a crucial role in supporting the Lead Composites Technician to ensure the smooth operation of the composites department. This includes:
- Collaborating with design engineers to evaluate designs for manufacturability and test requirements, then implementing them in a rapidly evolving production environment
- Developing and delivering training programs for technicians on best-in-class operations practices, process improvement methodologies, and tools
- Applying process improvement techniques to reduce manufacturing build hours, quality issues, and waste from complex processes
- Producing prototype and/or test articles
- Performing general composite technician activities
- Other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 3 Trade qualification in Aerospace, Marine, or a similar trade
- At least 5 years of experience in the aerospace, marine, or automotive manufacturing industry
- NV1 Security Clearance eligibility (preferred)
Desirable Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
We are looking for candidates with:
- Hands-on experience in advanced composites manufacturing
- Experience taking products from prototype to volume production
- Experience with rapidly introducing process improvements
