About Us

The Brown and Hurley Group is a leading Australian dealership with a strong presence in QLD and Northern NSW. We are a family-owned business with a rich history in the industry, specialising in the sale and service of heavy commercial trucks and trailers, agricultural, and construction machinery.

This is a newly created part-time permanent position based at our AdBlue facility in Yatala. The successful applicant will be heavily involved in the initial setup of production with support from management. This is a hands-on, standalone role requiring the ability to lift heavy items, drive a forklift, and operate machinery.

The successful candidate will be taught the processes and procedures to manufacture our products but will require the ability to take full responsibility and work independently after a short period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and manufacture of products according to batch specification
  • Coordination of laboratory testing to ensure compliance
  • Estimation of chemicals and raw materials for manufacture
  • Preparation of packaging and labelling
  • Setup/clean-up of manufacturing machinery
  • Organisation of periodic service and maintenance for machinery
  • Co-ordination of goods in/out
  • Warehouse and inventory management
  • Preparation and maintenance of production and stock reports
  • Delivery of product to customers when necessary

Requirements:

  • 3+ years' experience in process manufacturing
  • Physically fit
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Positive attitude and a desire to upskill and grow
  • Knowledge of production management
  • Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations
  • Manual driver's license and LF forklift license
