About the Role

Gilmour Space Technologies is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team in the machining department. As a CNC Machinist, you will play a critical role in supporting the Lead Machinist to ensure the smooth operation of the machining department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture high-quality components using lathes, mills, and general workshop equipment
  • Carry out engineering requests to support the development and manufacture of jigs, fixtures, and specialized tooling
  • Ensure good manufacturing practice is followed while providing ongoing maintenance and organization of toolroom equipment
  • Interface with the engineering team to ensure manufacturing constraints are incorporated in the design process
  • Grow the company's precision manufacturing capability by assessing the appropriate hardware and staff to meet company goals
Requirements
  • Trade qualified Toolmaker or Fitter & Turner Machinist
  • 5 years' experience manufacturing precision components
  • NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred
