About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow within a fast-paced and rewarding environment.

The successful candidate will have experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role, proficiency in accounting software, and a solid understanding of general accounting principles and Australian tax regulations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for clients
  • Prepare financial statements, including profit & loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payments
  • Process payroll accurately and on time
  • Complete tax returns and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations
  • Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial reporting
  • Provide clients with financial insights and advice to support business growth
  • Collaborate with the accounting team to deliver exceptional client service

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role, as well as proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.

  • Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
