Job Overview

This is a long-term employment opportunity with the flexibility to work from home one to two days per week after completing probation. Eligibility is limited to citizens of Australia or permanent residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure timely completion of client work
  • Work closely with Partners to provide tax planning and advisory services to clients
  • Assist in staff training, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development
  • Lead and review the preparation of Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships, and Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs)
  • Support the preparation of Business Activity Statements (BAS), Individual Tax Summaries (IAS), Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT), Capital Gains Tax (CGT), and Pay As You Go (PAYG) for various companies and trusts
  • Participate in training seminars, team meetings, and social events
  • Provide exceptional service to clients
Qualifications and Requirements
  • 2.5+ years' experience in Public Practice Accounting
  • Chartered Accountant qualification or in progress
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or a related field
Required Skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including MYOB AE, HowNow, Active Ledger, APS, MYOB, Xero, and QuickBooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to our clients
