Senior Accountant Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete month-end reporting, including journals, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, and foreign currency revaluations.
  • Prepare accurate management and board reports with variance analysis and commentary.
  • Manage capital expenditure, fixed assets, and intercompany loan reconciliations.
  • Evaluate timely and accurate completion of Balance Sheet reconciliations and performance reports.
  • Support audit processes, including preparation of audit files and documentation of internal controls.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with inventory COGS and internal controls.
  • Strong understanding of Australian financial reporting standards, IFRS, and taxation (including FBT).
  • Advanced Excel skills and ERP system proficiency.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy under pressure.
  • Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and support audit and compliance processes.
