Support Worker - Disability Care

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team supporting participants in their daily lives. As a key member of our Care Services team, you will play a hands-on role administering medication, providing Home Based Daily Living Support, taking participants for appointments, and observing and supporting behavior.

You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of participant progress and assessing ongoing needs. Additionally, you will assist in building participant self-image and self-confidence through various activities.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A certificate in Disability, Ageing or related industries (Certificate III or IV)
  • A current First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • A current National Police Clearance
  • An unrestricted driver's license and own vehicle for transport with comprehensive insurance

Previous experience working with individuals with complex care needs is highly regarded. Local applicants are preferred.
