About the Role

The APS 6 Human Resource Officer will work under the direction of the HQ 1 (AS) DIV G1/S01 Personnel Management team to action complex APS matters, interpret and provide advice on legislation, policy and procedures.

Key responsibilities include undertaking specialist research and analysis, conducting reviews, assessments, investigations, and performing procedural, clerical and administrative support work to achieve results.

About the Team

Headquarters 1st (Australian) Division is based at Gallipoli Barracks, Enoggera QLD, and is comprised of several Branches who support Defence's mission.

The G1 Branch is responsible for personnel management activities, including recruitment, training, evaluation of employees' performance, remuneration and benefit administration, labour relations, and compliance with labour laws and regulations.
