**The Opportunity**
In partnership with the ADF and the Commonwealth, Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) provides aircraft maintenance and upgrades, component maintenance solutions, technical support, mission-critical infrastructure support and training on some of the most capable surveillance, command, control, and combat platforms in the world.
BDA is looking for a **Maintenance Requirements Determination (MRD) Specialist** who will join the AH-64E Apache team.
In this role you will support the most modern and capable configuration of the AH-64 Apache attack helicopter. You will be based in Enoggera, Brisbane with the Army customer in an integrated Attack Helicopter System Program Office (AHSPO).
As an **MRD Specialist** within BDA, you will
- Evaluate engineering and maintenance systems design for logistics supportability including configuration baseline discipline.
- Support engineering, logistics and maintenance teams to optimise the Apache support system.
- Work with configuration management team to coordinate maintenance and production activities and changes.
- Support the maintenance and update of the Apache Logistics Support Model through provision of data.
- Develop supportability data and identifies gaps and initiates resolution to meet support objectives.
- Analyse and develops preliminary task and resource requirements,
- Develop repair level analysis and scheduled maintenance programs, and
- Support the development of life cycle costs
- Perform the role of eMRD and eLSA expert practitioner for the program.
**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 5 years + relevant experience in similar role.
- A superior knowledge of Defence Aviation Safety Regulations.
- Experience using tools such as eMRD and eLSA in the performance of LSA support.
- Experience within the defence or civil aviation sectors as a qualified technician or engineer.
- Meet Defence security and ITAR requirements.***
