About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our Finance team at Lorna Jane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collate and process payroll data for our Australian and New Zealand offices
  • Process employee terminations and final payments in accordance with relevant legislation
  • Manage payroll queries and resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Support the People Team with new employee onboarding and setup
  • Process Paid Parental Leave payments and Centrelink Separation Certificates
  • Closing out payroll deadlines and reporting to the Payroll Manager
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of internal payroll forms
  • Attend meetings with external vendors to improve payroll operations
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes
Requirements
  • 2+ years of payroll experience
  • Knowledge of employment legislation, including PAYG and Superannuation Guarantee Contributions
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel)
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Effective stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • Previous experience with Dayforce and Roubler systems is highly desirable
