Progressive Care Unit Nurse

This is a challenging role for an experienced Registered Nurse to work in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a reputable hospital.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of PCU experience and be proficient in IV starts, tele monitoring, and Epic systems.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients in the PCU unit.
- Care for patients with diverse medical conditions, including but not limited to cardiovascular, respiratory, and neurological disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient based on their unique needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and communicate effectively with families and caregivers.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Epic experience mandatory.
- Ability to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.
- Preferred: previous travel experience.
