Salary: AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
About This RoleWe are seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses to deliver primary healthcare services to Aboriginal patients in rural Australia. As an Aboriginal Health Specialist Nurse, you will be working with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care, focusing on prevention, treatment, and health education.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver professional, evidence-based healthcare to children and the community, with a special emphasis on Aboriginal health.
- Support chronic disease management, maternal and child health, and immunization programs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Work closely with community leaders to promote culturally safe health practices.
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
- Experience in Aboriginal health and/or rural and remote healthcare.
- Strong cultural awareness and the ability to work effectively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
