Healthy Menu Developer

The Role
- This role involves preparing healthy meals for children of different age groups.
- You will be working approximately 20 hours per week, with shifts from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
- Access to a national network of cooks who regularly share recipes, questions, ideas, and tips.
- Utilise the Feed Australia program, a free program enabling cooks to plan, budget, and access healthy menus to support children's growth and development.
About You
- A capable cook with experience in bulk meal preparation, online ordering, stock management, and budget control.
- Strict about complying with relevant food safety and hygiene regulations and standards.
- Able to cater for individual child requirements, including allergies, specific dietary needs, and medical conditions.
- Keen to participate in early educational opportunities, teaching children about healthy food by sharing in lessons and family events.
Requirements
- Current Food Safety and Handlers Certificate (Health and Community).
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.
- Experience in an early childhood setting.
- Reliable transport to and from our centre.
- Current first aid certificate, including asthma and anaphylactic training, and resuscitation certificate.
