We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Darwin.

As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, you will work closely with our technical experts undertaking aviation maintenance activities to meet the needs of Airbus Australia Pacific and their customers on the ARH Tiger.

This role requires interaction with numerous stakeholders to identify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements and plays an important part in maintaining customer satisfaction. The position reports to Team Lead Aircraft Line Maintenance, through respective Aircraft Technical Leads, responsible for all ARH maintenance activities undertaken by the Darwin Maintenance teams.

You can anticipate some of your day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Conducting maintenance in accordance with relevant regulations
  • As part of a team, undertaking aircraft maintenance activities within your Quality Authorisations as directed by your supervisor, to ensure delivery of aircraft to meet the specified delivery schedule
  • Ensuring that all aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance activities are conducted effectively, efficiently, and performed, supervised, inspected, and certified in compliance with either the Airbus Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) or 1 AVN MOE as applicable

The skills and experience suited to this role include:

  • Diploma Aeroskills (Avionics) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation
  • High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and its applicability in the relevant environment
  • Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
  • Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of and experience using CAMM2 an advantage

Benefits

Airbus offers a competitive salary of AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, plus benefits including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a comprehensive remuneration package.

Estimated Salary: AU$135,000 per annum
