About this role

Airbus has an exciting opportunity for a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in Darwin. As a key member of the maintenance function, you will be responsible for undertaking aviation maintenance activities to meet the needs of Airbus Australia Pacific and their customers.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) with strong technical skills and knowledge to join our team. The successful candidate will execute maintenance within the bounds of the authority level delegated by the relevant Responsible Manager, working in accordance with relevant regulations, Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE), and other authorised procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct maintenance on ARH Tiger aircraft to ensure airworthiness and compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and performance metrics;
  • Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and effective communication;
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality of maintenance operations;
Requirements
  • Diploma Aeroskills (Structures) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation;
  • High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and its applicability in the relevant environment;
  • Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices;
  • Experience in an Approved Maintenance Organisation (AMO) environment;
  • Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETP);
  • Sufficient experience on type to support a successful application for maintenance task authorisation at the appropriate level;
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction;
