About this role
Airbus Australia Pacific is seeking a skilled Aircraft Avionics Specialist to join our maintenance team in Darwin.
This position requires interaction with numerous stakeholders to identify scheduled and unscheduled maintenance requirements and plays an important role in maintaining customer satisfaction.
As the Aircraft Avionics Specialist, you will work closely with an inclusive team of technical experts undertaking aviation maintenance activities to meet the needs of Airbus Australia Pacific and their customers on the ARH Tiger.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct maintenance in accordance with the relevant regulations
- Undertake aircraft maintenance activities within your Quality Authorisations as directed by your supervisor
- Identify new opportunities for enhancement of maintenance services
About you
To be successful in this role, you will need to live the Airbus Values, work with passion and determination, and be able to work to tight deadlines in an environment of continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Diploma Aeroskills (Avionics) or equivalent issued by a Registered Training Organisation
- High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge and its applicability in the relevant environment
- Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices
- Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
You must be eligible for an Australian Government Negative Vetting 1 Security Clearance and have the capacity to satisfy pre-employment medical screening which may include drug and alcohol testing.
