With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2025.

Our Wantirna South campus is seeking a Primary Learning Support Assistant to work 5 days per week (8:45am-3:15/4pm during term time, FTE 0.849), who desire to play a vital role in the creation of an inclusive classroom environment where every student can thrive.

You are an integral part of our school community and educational team, acting as a bridge between students and their teacher and help to foster connections between students and their peers. By ensuring each student receives the support they need to actively participate in school and class, you'll have the rewarding experience of seeing them achieve milestones they might not have reached on their own.

Preference will be given to applicants demonstrating a high level of skill and experience working with students who require extensive adjustments to manage complex student needs relating to learning, emotional regulation, and/or behaviour.

You are an ideal candidate if you:

• Have a Certificate III or Certificate IV in Education Support or be prepared to study towards one
• Have a passion for supporting students with disabilities
• Are able to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and other support staff
• Can demonstrate high level communication and interpersonal skills
• Have good administrative and Microsoft Office 365 skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Are able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education
• Are willing to get involved in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities
