Role Overview

This position oversees the provision of comprehensive pharmaceutical care and advice to multidisciplinary teams and patients undergoing cancer treatment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team in delivering patient-centered pharmacy services, emphasizing medication safety and optimization.

Key responsibilities include performing clinical assessments, drug therapy monitoring, and offering patient-specific recommendations.

In addition, this role involves engaging in complex aseptic compounding and contributing to multidisciplinary team reviews and cancer care meetings.

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent with current unconditional Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA is required.
  • A high level of computer literacy, including systems knowledge of CHARM and Microsoft Office, is essential.
  • A team-oriented mindset, collaborative attitude, and passion for providing specialized patient care are highly valued.
  • Previous experience and/or formal study in cancer care, along with the ability to perform aseptic complex compounding, are desirable.
