Assistant Department Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Assistant Department Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Department Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day functions of your department while working closely across the store to ensure we provide our customers with a great shopping experience and our team with a great place to work.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage and model ways to delight our customers through everyday actions.
  • Make safety a top priority for the team and customers by ensuring correct processes are followed in store.
  • Provide strong support to the department team on a day-to-day basis.
  • Work well with others through collaboration to achieve great outcomes.
  • Develop awareness of leadership style and grow into a future leader.

Requirements:

  • Ability to engage and motivate others.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work a 4-day work week.
