Assistant Coordinator Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Assistant Coordinator to join our team at St Ignatius Outside School Hours Care in Toowong. As an Assistant Coordinator, you will play a vital role in shaping the experiences of the children in our care, providing a safe, secure, and nurturing environment that promotes healthy living and social skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including program planning, delivery, and documentation.
  • Supervise staff and assist with rostering and administration tasks.
  • Deliver a high-quality, inclusive, educational program that meets the needs of children.
  • Promote the service within the local community and maintain a positive reputation.
Requirements:
  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent qualification.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis certification.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in the education and care of children, with a strong understanding of the National Quality Framework and My Time Our Place framework.
