Assistant Coordinator-Toowong

Catholic Early EdCare is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Coordinator to join our team at St Ignatius Outside School Hours Care in Toowong.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, part-time position, working 18 hours per week. As an Assistant Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service, including program planning, delivery, and documentation, staff rostering and supervision, and administration and financial management tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, educational program for children.
- Provide a safe, secure, welcoming, and nurturing environment for children.
- Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission, and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
- Assist in the administration and financial management of the service.
- Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis.
- Consent to be the Responsible Person on site in the absence of the Coordinator.
- Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and National Law/Regulations.
- Experience in the education and care of children.
- Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software.
- Effective workplace communication and leadership skills.
