About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Services Assistant to join our team at VMCH Justin Villa Aged Care Balwyn. As a key member of our food services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality catering services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook basic meals and snacks for residents
  • Present and serve food in an appealing manner, adhering to individual dietary requirements
  • Work collaboratively with the food services team to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
Requirements
  • Food Safety Certificate Level I (HLTFSE001) or progression towards completion
  • Previous experience in a food services environment, preferably in aged care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
