The role of a Food Service Assistant in an Aged Care facility is busy and rewarding. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to residents during meal service
  • Assisting with basic food preparation and setup
  • Cleaning down after meal service

Part-time positions are available, with shifts offered throughout all 7 days to suit your availability. Some hospitality experience and a certificate in food safety are highly valued. It is mandatory for anyone working in Aged Care to complete a National Police Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check, and be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
