Sales Automation Engineer

The role of Sales Automation Engineer is pivotal in driving revenue growth for both mobile and fixed plant applications, with a strong focus on mining clients. This position requires a dynamic and results-driven individual to develop and execute strategies that capitalize on established relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to grow revenue in automation for mobile and fixed plant applications.
  • Work closely with existing customers to leverage established relationships and identify new business prospects.
  • Focus primarily on mining clients to enhance operational efficiency through innovative automation solutions.
  • Engage with clients in defence, agriculture, power generation, and industrial manufacturing sectors to explore opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales, engineering, and service teams to win full turnkey projects, ongoing service work, and component supply opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in automation.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to customers throughout the sales process.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development within the automation industry.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and lubrication systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
