The Freight Logistics Coordinator (based in Erskine Park) plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient coordination of equipment transport between branches and customer sites. As a casual position due to maternity leave, this role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate Safety Leadership by contributing to Coates' Zero Harm safety culture.
  • Ensure safe use of compliant transport contractors for equipment transportation between branches and customer sites.
  • Source transport services for delivery and pickup of equipment in conjunction with other team members.
  • Liaise with transport providers to obtain quotations and engage services for larger-scale transportation within the Coates network.
  • Maintain effective communication with Branch Managers, Site Teams, staff, and customers to meet their needs.
  • Liaise with Workshop, Customer Service, and Installations departments for timely delivery and pickup of equipment.
  • Plan, allocate, and coordinate transport moves for customers.
  • Schedule and coordinate pumpouts of portable toilets and waste tanks on customer sites.
  • Drive effective customer service to ensure a continuing share of wallet.
  • Maximise the use of company vehicles and meet monthly KPIs.
  • Monitor and revise driver schedules throughout the day as required.

What You'll Bring:

  • Flexible working arrangements to balance work-life with home life.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role or within the Rental or Transport Industries.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills – previous experience with a TMS highly regarded.
  • Geographical knowledge of the Sydney metro area.
  • Highly organised with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills.

Salary Estimate: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
