About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at W Melbourne. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring exceptional quality and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • To prepare special meals or substitute items as required by guests or in-house events.
  • To manage team performance and maintain high standards in all areas of kitchen operation.
  • To supervise kitchen sections and ensure that all staff are working efficiently and effectively.
  • To monitor the quality and quantity of food prepared and to implement improvements where necessary.
  • To communicate assistance needs during busy periods to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • To ensure the quality of food items is maintained at all times.
  • To prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  • To conduct trainings for other team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
