Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced leader to join our team as an Infrastructure Design Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with strong technical expertise and leadership skills to take on a key role in delivering high-quality infrastructure projects.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing teams, developing project plans, and ensuring timely delivery of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of civil drafters and coordinate their work to ensure the highest standards of quality and productivity.
  • Develop and implement training programs to support CAD technologies and provide learning opportunities for junior team members.
  • Supervise and review the work of draftspersons to maintain technically high standards and techniques.
  • Complete, review and validate design drawings and documentation with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Drafting or Engineering, or equivalent experience in the industry.
  • Proven experience in leading a team of civil drafters and managing project resourcing and quality of outputs.
  • Extensive experience delivering infrastructure projects, including transport and civil projects.
  • Strong knowledge of local drafting standards, including TMR, CoGC, CMB, BCC, etc.
  • Good understanding of software design tools, including AutoCAD packages.
