Bathurst Health Service offers a unique role within the Western NSW Local Health District.
This hospital provides acute services to a rapidly growing catchment population and is undergoing a significant redevelopment.
Services include allied health, ambulatory care, coronary care, emergency medicine, intensive care, general medicine, mental health drug & alcohol, obstetrics & gynaecology, oncology, paediatrics, pathology, radiology, rehabilitation and surgery.
- Emergency Medicine Specialists
- General Practitioners and nursing staff
- Manage a variety of emergency presentation cases
- Develop skills and increase proficiency in practice areas
- Mentor junior medical staff and participate in teaching and training for undergraduates
- Contribute to the education of other staff members

- Staff Specialists: as per NSW Staff Specialists Award 2022 Overtime and shift penalty rates apply
- Visiting Medical Officers: sessional contract under the Public Hospitals (Visiting Medical Officers - Sessional Contracts) Determination 2014
