Senior Judicial Support Officer

The primary purpose of the role is to support the court's operations by providing administrative, organisational, and executive support to a senior judge in chambers and in the courtroom.
- Accurately record judicial decisions and orders on the Department's system;
- Release judgments to the internet and the parties, including publishing judgments;
- Manage calendars, files, and correspondence;
- Prepare and distribute documents;
- Administer court proceedings;
- Operate computer systems and software;
- Liaise with departmental support services;
- Organise travel arrangements;
- Interact with judges, lawyers, and other stakeholders;
- Provide office support and logistics;
- Conduct legal research and prepare documentation.
This role demands initiative, dedication, and strong administrative and communicative skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic record in their tertiary legal qualifications.
