**Job Role Summary**
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to fill the role of Maintenance Officer. As part of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the hotel's facilities are well maintained, delivering warm, luxury service to our guests.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, effective task prioritisation, and seamless collaboration with staff. Daily plant rounds, equipment repairs, and timely responses to service requests are key aspects of this role.
This position requires a self-motivated individual with problem-solving abilities, who is physically fit to perform duties. The ability to work according to operational requirements and demands, including early, late, and regular weekend shifts, is essential.
Qualifications and Skills- A trade qualification is advantageous but not essential; however, a willingness to learn and develop new skills is crucial.
- School leavers are encouraged to apply, with full training provided to equip them with the necessary knowledge and expertise.
- A deep understanding of hotel maintenance, including WHS, contractor management, and plant & equipment management, is highly valued.
- Must be able to work as part of a close-knit team, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
