Residential Property Manager Opportunity

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Building Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and upkeep of residential apartment buildings. This includes coordinating contractors, managing maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining excellent property standards.

  • Oversight of contractors and service providers to ensure high standards of building and grounds maintenance.
  • Monitoring compliance with safety, security, and regulatory requirements.
  • Management of routine inspections, coordination of repairs, and supervision of essential services such as cleaning, gardening, and pool/spa maintenance.
  • Prompt action in emergency situations to ensure resident safety.
  • Communication with residents to address concerns and support a harmonious living environment.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have proven experience in building or facilities management, ideally within residential, social, or community housing. They should possess strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, compliance, and safety standards, along with effective leadership and contractor management skills.

  • Maintenance expertise including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work.
  • Safety awareness and adherence to health and safety protocols.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
