Compassionate Patient Care Specialist

The Community Patient Transport Officer is a vital role within our team, focused on providing safe and non-emergency transportation for eligible patients. This position offers a chance to make a positive impact on people's lives while working in a dynamic and growing organization.
About the Role- Provide transportation services for patients attending appointments.
- Assist patients in and out of vehicles, including wheelchair-capable transport.
- Follow clinical care directions from senior team members.
- Communicate with dispatch teams to ensure timely responses.
- Conduct vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness, stock, and equipment.
- Submit accurate patient care records and other documentation.
- Report hazards or incidents and follow safety protocols.
We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual who can work independently and within a team environment. You will be responsible for upholding our values and contributing to our team culture.
Requirements- Hold current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid certificate and HLTAID015 Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy certificate or willingness to obtain prior to employment.
- Have an unrestricted C-class driver's license and drive safely and reasonably.
- Obtain a current WA working with children check (or willing to obtain one).
- National police clearance to be obtained prior to commencement date and commit to renewing every three years.
- Strong work ethic and ability to deliver excellent patient-centric care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to relate to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Vaccination as per government guidelines for healthcare workers.
- Physically fit to provide patient transport services.
- Able to pass a drug and alcohol screening.
