Job Title: Sports Coordinator and Duke of Edinburgh's Award Champion

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized professional to lead our sports department as a Sports Coordinator & Duke of Edinburgh's Award Coordinator. This permanent, full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the administration and delivery of both junior school sport programs and the Duke of Edinburgh's Award.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Sports Coordinator Responsibilities:

    ">

  • • Assist the Director of Sport with planning and delivering a broad range of sport programs across the school

    ">

  • • Organise, promote, and manage Junior School Sport programs, including casual sport coach management, administration, and competition logistics

    ">

  • • Coordinate House Sport carnivals and other sporting events

    ">

  • • Provide administrative support for all school sports-related activities

    ">

  • • Ensure the smooth operation of all sport initiatives, including weekend sports events and competitions

    ">

  • Duke of Edinburgh's Award Coordinator Responsibilities:

    ">

  • • Oversee the Duke of Edinburgh's Award program, including the coordination of adventurous journeys through external providers, and related activities

    ">

  • • Liaise with students, parents, staff and external providers to ensure the successful implementation of the Award

    ">

  • • Conduct risk assessments and manage health and safety requirements for all Award-related activities

    ">

  • Requirements:

  • • Strong organisational, administrative, and communication skills

    ">

  • • Experience in managing or coordinating sports programs and/or cocurricular activities

    ">

  • • Ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, staff, and external providers

  • • Familiarity with safety protocols, risk assessments, and compliance standards

    ">

  • • Passion for fostering student growth and well-being through sport and adventure

  • • Flexibility to work on Saturdays as part of the full-time role
