Sports Development Manager
About the Role:This exciting opportunity is for a motivated and experienced Sports Development Manager to lead the delivery of sport competitions and learn-to-play programs across multiple locations.
The successful candidate will drive strategy, participation, and performance to ensure high-quality, inclusive sporting experiences for young people. They will champion grassroots sports while supporting staff, engaging with communities, and building strong partnerships.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the delivery and growth of club-level sports activities, improving operations, maximising participation, and maintaining high safety, quality, and inclusion standards.
The role requires collaboration with internal teams to recruit, support, and upskill staff involved in sports delivery, as well as providing regular reporting to the executive team on participation trends and program performance.
The ideal candidate will have a relevant tertiary qualification, demonstrated experience in managing social sports competitions, and excellent communication skills.
