About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sports Manager to lead our state-wide sports competitions and participation programs.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about grassroots sports, community engagement, and staff development.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of sport competitions and learn-to-play programs across 66 PCYC NSW Clubs, championing grassroots sports, and supporting staff, communities, and partnerships to deliver high-quality, inclusive sporting experiences for young people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and delivery of sport competitions and learn-to-play programs
  • Champion grassroots sports and support staff, communities, and partnerships to deliver high-quality, inclusive sporting experiences
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase participation and engagement in sports programs
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including staff, communities, and partners

Requirements:

  • Degree in Sports Management, Exercise Science, or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in sports management or a related field
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering sports programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
