Job Title: Manufacturing Operations Associate

The client is a leading manufacturer of milk bottles, and we are seeking skilled individuals to join their production team as Manufacturing Operations Associates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • General cleaning of the production area, including benches and equipment.
  • Safe lifting of bags containing empty milk bottles from storage racks, removing them, and placing the empty bottles into loading trays.
  • Removing dividers and transferring them to the loading stack while ensuring the bottles are upright, intact, and undamaged. This may involve using a pallet jack for efficient movement.
  • Manual bagging: tearing off new bags, loading empty milk bottles, sealing the bags in a machine, and stacking them securely.
  • Using safety hook knives to open plastic bags, at times involving blockage removal that requires following the line and carefully removing a fallen empty milk bottle.
  • Label roll changing and general cleaning duties, including picking up stray plastic offcuts that have fallen on the ground.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work various shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and nights.
  • A willingness to learn and a positive can-do attitude.
  • Ability to operate machinery safely.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a loud environment.
