About The Opportunity

  • You can contribute to enhancing health and wellness while developing your career as part of the largest health organisation in Australia.
  • Health Manager level 6, starting salary from $182,575 - $199,405, plus Super with a 40-hour work week.
  • Develop and refine a Python-based model to simulate award scenarios and workforce costings.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, validate assumptions, and align modelling to policy needs.
  • Provide technical guidance to analysts and support urgent costing requests using the model.
  • Document model logic, workflows, and outputs to ensure transparency and reusability.
  • P present findings and model outputs to senior executives, finance, industrial relations and external stakeholders.

About You

  • We seek motivated and committed individuals who can support the work of NSW Health with:
    • Advanced skills in Python (or equivalent tools) for data modelling, simulation, and scenario analysis.
    • Experience building and maintaining complex financial or workforce models in large or regulated organisations.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to distil complexity into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
    • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to document and present model assumptions and outputs clearly.
    • Knowledge of industrial relations, public sector awards, or workforce costing is highly desirable.
