Schedule Coordinator Steel Reinforcing Industry

Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Providing efficient and accurate reinforcing bar bending schedules

- Interpreting construction drawings to produce bar lists for manufacturing of reinforced steel

- Producing marking plans for placement of reinforced steel on construction sites

- Managing and overseeing building projects

- Communicating and co-ordinating with clients and other third parties to ensure deadlines are met

- Troubleshooting any issues

We require a highly skilled Schedule Coordinator to join our organisation in the steel reinforcing industry.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience as a scheduler in the steel reinforcing industry, with excellent knowledge of steel and associated reinforcing products.

Able to understand technical drawings, and interpret engineering and architectural drawings in order to extract information required. Experience with scheduling software (aSa preferred) or similar is essential.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess sound knowledge of production planning, excellent customer service, people and relationship building skills, attention to detail and a solid understanding of interpreting and measuring accuracy.

Prioritisation of tasks, effective time management and strong communication skills are also essential for this role.
