Steel Reinforcement Scheduler – Manufacturing | Perth

Our client, a leading manufacturing organisation, is seeking a detail-oriented Steel Reinforcement Scheduler to join their production team. In this role, you will convert structural drawings and customer orders into accurate reinforcement schedules, ensuring production efficiency, minimised waste, and timely delivery. You will liaise with production teams and clients while maintaining compliance with Australian Standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed Bar Bending Schedules (BBS) from structural drawings.
  • Generate accurate cut and bend lists for production using ASA software.
  • Ensure reinforcement schedules comply with Australian Standards (AS/NZS 4671, AS 3600).
  • Coordinate schedules between customers and manufacturing to meet delivery timelines.
  • Update schedules in response to drawing changes or client requests.
  • Maintain records of schedules and production data for reporting and quality control.
  • Liaise with clients and site personnel to clarify specifications and delivery requirements.
Skills & Experience
  • Certificate or Diploma in Engineering, Drafting, Construction, or related field.
  • 2–3 years' experience in reinforcement scheduling within a cut & bend manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in ASA and AutoCAD, with strong understanding of reinforcement products, shapes, and codes.
  • Knowledge of relevant Australian Standards (AS 3600, AS/NZS 4671).
  • High attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills for collaboration across teams and with clients.
