Senior Business Analyst Opportunity

The role of Senior Business Analyst is a key position within our organization, requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to deliver successful business outcomes. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering and analysing business requirements, ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimsCenter.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Gathering and Analysis: Lead requirements gathering by conducting interviews, workshops, and document analysis to understand business needs and objectives.
  • Liaison and Communication: Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure clear communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Configuration and Customization: Oversee configuration and customisation of Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimsCenter to align with business requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Analyze existing processes and workflows to identify improvements and recommend solutions that increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Documentation and Testing: Prepare detailed business requirements documents, functional specifications, use cases, and user stories to support development and testing.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users to ensure successful adoption of Guidewire solutions.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and objectives are met.


Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in business analysis, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
  • Guidewire Experience: Extensive Guidewire experience with Guidewire 8 (and ideally 10) PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimsCenter, including implementation and customization.
  • Insurance Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of insurance industry processes (policy administration, billing, and claims management).
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Methodologies: Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Certification: CBAP or similar professional certification is a plus.
  • Language: English proficiency (verbal and written).
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and under pressure.
