About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate veterinary professional to provide exceptional care to animals and their owners in a dynamic work environment.
- Undertake general nursing duties including surgical and medical nursing, consult nursing, emergency and critical care, and pathology.
- Perform minor procedures when required.
- Care for, handle and clean all animals.
- Maintain the overall hygiene of the practice, including surgical areas and equipment.
- Assist with reception duties including being the first point of contact for clients, handling client enquiries in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, managing client accounts, admitting and discharging patients.
About You:
We are looking for a person who is professionally certified, highly skilled and passionate about animal care, maintaining high clinical standards, driving continuous improvement, fear-free and stress-free handling, and delivering exceptional patient care.
- Holds a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing with minimum 2+ years of experience.
- An extensive knowledge and understanding of veterinary nursing procedures.
- Excellent animal handling skills.
- A calm and friendly presence.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible and adaptable within a team environment.
