Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision to staff, ensuring adherence to Benevolent and Disability Services procedures, while addressing practice concerns with team leaders.
- Support practitioner development by guiding new professionals and practitioners in client management, diagnosis, and best practices to ensure effective and confidential treatment.
- Promote evidence-based practices by acting as a subject matter expert, coaching staff on NDIS standards, evidence-based interventions, and improving client outcomes.
- Collaborate on professional growth by working with managers, senior therapists, and universities to enhance team capabilities, support student placements, and develop clinical resources.
- Monitor and report compliance by ensuring adherence to Disability standards, addressing practice issues promptly, and providing feedback on staff performance and well-being.

- Eligibility for professional membership and national registration with a national body as required.
- Strong clinical supervision experience to staff working with complex clients in the NDIS environment.
- Previous experience working with children, adults, and parents/caregivers where the clients have complex needs.
- Ability to provide supervision via technology or delivering supervision to regional locations.
- Demonstrated ability to professionally supervise new graduate and more experienced therapists, monitoring professional standards and complex ethical issues.
- Ability to communicate effectively with therapists, their Team Leaders, and Managers.
- Understanding of the impact of disability and trauma and the effect on behaviour and development.
- Ability to support staff, other team members, and external stakeholders to better understand the role of therapy and the benefits for children and adults.
- Ability to assess circumstances from multiple views and understand underlying agendas.
- Ability to apply evidence-based practice to optimise outcomes.
- Ability to translate complex theories in an easily understood, practical way.
- Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours and travel as required.
