**Medical Imaging Technologist Job Opportunity**

Job Description:

Apex Radiology, a respected diagnostic imaging provider in Western Australia, is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Radiographer to join its team in Busselton. The successful candidate will work across a multi-modality site offering General X-ray, CT, and Ultrasound, supported by modern facilities and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging in line with protocols, standards, and timeframes.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists during procedures and maintain sterile techniques.
  • Accurate patient and service data entry using RIS/PACS systems.
  • Maintain knowledge of medical emergencies, infection control, and patient care practices.
  • Deliver compassionate care to patients, relatives, visitors, and the general public.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with imaging techniques.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Medical Imaging (BSc or equivalent).
  • Current registration with AHPRA and professional membership with AIR.
  • Valid Radiation Use Licence (WA Health Department).
  • CT experience (recommended but not essential).
  • Experience with RIS/PACS systems (recommended but not essential).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to patient care, safety, and continuous learning.
