Job Overview

Hickory seeks a senior financial leader to develop and execute its financial strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term growth objectives.

  • Develop Financial Strategy: Lead the development and execution of the Group's financial strategy, aligning with long-term growth objectives.
  • Oversee Governance and Risk: Oversee financial governance, risk management, compliance, and audit processes.
  • Ensure Accurate Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely group financial reporting, including board packs, statutory accounts, tax, and audit readiness.
  • Drive Capital Allocation: Drive capital allocation and investment oversight, assessing opportunities, monitoring returns, and ensuring funds are deployed effectively.
  • Lead Treasury and Cash Management: Lead treasury and cash management, including intercompany cash flow, funding structures, banking relationships, and project bank accounts.

The ideal candidate will have a CA/CPA qualification and 15+ years of senior finance leadership experience, preferably in construction or property industries. They should possess strong commercial acumen, the ability to align financial planning with business growth and operational priorities, and experience in managing multi-entity, complex environments and large-scale investments.
