As a Residential Care and Services Director, you will be responsible for ensuring the Facility maintains a high-quality level of consumer-centred care and services for their customers and stakeholders across all aspects focused on the consumer's whole person's well-being experience.
You will provide leadership to your local team, enabling and influencing them to perform at their best within the Baptcare business and value framework.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Care and Compliance: Ensure the Facility meets and exceeds aged care quality and safety standards.
- People Management: Lead and manage a team of staff, promoting a consumer-focused service and ensuring the well-being of residents, staff, and other key stakeholders.
- Operational Performance: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Facility, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
- Financial Performance: Manage the Facility's budget and financial resources, ensuring sound financial management and decision-making.
You will have previous experience and proven ability to lead a team of staff and maximise outcomes in performance and Resident care. With outstanding communication skills, you will promote a consumer-focused service – internally and externally - and be confident in leading individuals to be successful in their given role.
You will ideally bring the following:
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a leadership role.
- Tertiary qualification in a related field (Health or Aged Care).
- Excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to supervise and motivate staff and work collaboratively within a team.
- Contemporary understanding and working knowledge of a continuous improvement framework/system.
- Demonstrate a commitment to best practices in aged care, maintaining an optimal level of dignity, comfort, and quality of life for care recipients living in our aged care facilities.
