As the Senior Activities Coordinator at Bupa North Rocks, you will be responsible for driving the energy, engagement, and participation of residents into a range of social, recreational, and cultural activities. You will also lead mental health and wellbeing programs that empower our resident's choices and independence.

The Job

  • Plan, organise, and lead activities for our residents that meet their social and recreational needs while promoting independence and increasing quality of life.
  • Assess and document the effectiveness of the programs by tracking residents' progress and making necessary changes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Cert III in Leisure and Lifestyle
  • Senior First Aid Certificate is essential
  • Previous experience within an aged or community care setting
  • Highly developed organisation and time management skills
  • The ability to solve problems independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes

Estimated Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience.
