Grader Operator Position Overview

This challenging role is perfect for experienced individuals seeking a career in production mining.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Operate machinery efficiently and safely to maximize output.
  • Comply with established policies and procedures.
  • Respond promptly to instructions from supervisors.
  • Maintain optimal floor levels.
  • Minimize dilution and meet design parameters within acceptable tolerances.
  • Maintain stockpiles, dumps, and haul roads for safe and efficient flow.
  • Operate and move material as directed to prepare operating areas and roads.
  • Ensure high housekeeping standards are maintained.
  • Perform pre-start checks.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years experience operating a CAT 16M Grader or equivalent in a production mining environment.
  • Demonstrate strong mining operational skills, including maintaining pit floors and bunds in a mining production setting.
  • Possess sound knowledge of ore mark ups and pit configuration.
  • Hold a valid Australian driver's license.
  • Proven commitment to health and safety protocols.
