Key Role in Sustainable Waste Management

The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in leading the future of sustainable waste management.

This leadership position oversees and leads landfill and resource recovery operations at our Dunmore Recycling and Waste Disposal Depot.

Working closely with the Executive Manager Waste Services, you will collaborate with a dynamic and forward-thinking team to deliver customer-centric waste management services.

The Operations Manager will drive operational performance, lead business innovation, and manage and provide advice on the operational, financial, environmental, and regulatory performance of the Dunmore site.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or other related fields;
  • Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and deliver strategic projects;
  • Demonstrated experience providing safety leadership and ensuring compliance with organisational and regulatory requirements;
  • Extensive experience in landfill management, waste operations, environmental risk management, and remediation;
  • Experience in supporting and leading waste operational staff.
