Job Description

Assist Allied Health Professionals:

  • Support healthcare teams in delivering high-quality patient care, including assisting with mobility and treatment preparation.
  • Supervise exercises and group activities; assist with equipment maintenance and clerical tasks.
  • Maintain clear communication with clinicians and uphold patient privacy and dignity.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage a busy workload within a multidisciplinary team setting.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification, or willingness to obtain relevant experience as an Allied Health Assistant.
  • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in manual handling of patients and equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and prioritize deadlines.
  • Computer literacy and ability to use Office, email, and electronic patient record systems.
  • Current driver's license with willingness to travel for work purposes.
